Why delete leads permanently?

All accounts have a lead limit based on the plan —it's 10k for Basic, 50k for Pro, and 100k for Expert.

In instances when you reach your lead limit, you can permanently delete leads from the account to make space for new leads.

Deleting leads permanently helps you prevent mistakenly re-adding leads you no longer want to engage in, and sending them a message.

What specific leads can I permanently delete?

It's always up to the user to decide but some of the most common leads permanently deleted are the ones who unsubscribed/do not contact or bounced/invalid emails.

How to delete leads permanently?

To delete leads permanently, first select all of them.

Then, before confirming delete, make sure this toggle is on.

I mistakenly deleted leads permanently, how do I undo it?

From your workspace, go to the general settings → scroll down → clean list.

Can I get a list of permanently deleted leads?

It's not possible to get a list of permanently deleted leads.

Once leads are permanently deleted, their data gets stored in the database but encrypted. So they're not understandable to human eyes.

To avoid losing records of leads permanently deleted, it's a good practice to always export the list.

Clear the permanently deleted Leads list.


The list of permanently deleted leads can be cleared to allow the permanently deleted leads to be added to the list again.
