How to Re-authenticate a LinkedIn Account?

QuickMail may lose access to your LinkedIn account for a few reasons, depending on how the account was connected. This can happen if:

  • You log out of your LinkedIn account
  • Your LinkedIn session or authentication cookie expires
  • Your LinkedIn account settings was updated

When this happens, QuickMail can no longer perform LinkedIn actions (such as sending connection requests or messages) on your behalf.

To keep your campaigns running smoothly, it's important to re-authenticate your LinkedIn account in QuickMail whenever the connection is lost. Re-authenticating restores QuickMail's access and allows your LinkedIn automation to continue.

For LinkedIn Accounts Added Via LinkedIn Browser

In two separate tabs, make sure you're signed in to both your QuickMail account and your LinkedIn account. After that, open the browser extension and click Reconnect.

For LinkedIn Accounts Added Via 2FA

Only the QuickMail Support team can re-authenticate LinkedIn accounts that were added using 2FA.

To request this, click the AI chatbot in the lower-right corner of your QuickMail account, then select "Escalate to a Human" to get in touch with our support team.

For LinkedIn Accounts Added Via Cookies

Logging out of LinkedIn invalidates the cookies, which disconnects the account from QuickMail.

If the account loses permission, a warning will appear on the LinkedIn page in Settings, and an email notification will be sent to the account owner.

To re-authenticate, log back in to LinkedIn, then update the cookies in the LinkedIn account settings. See the steps for adding a LinkedIn account via cookies for guidance.
